Behind the name LAESSIG around singer-songwriter Marco Lässig are 6 musicians from the Basel and Zurich area.

Coming from a musical family, music has been in Marco's blood since childhood. He picked up the guitar from time to time at various events, providing entertainment and playing in various smaller bands. He often interpreted covers, but also wrote his own songs, which were never released to the public. In 2021, the time was overdue and Marco decided to take the plunge and record his own self-produced album.

The song material was available and, together with Dani Zimmermann, the next step was to put together a band. The contacts were activated and so they met for the first rehearsals in a rehearsal studio on Langstrasse in Zurich. They hit it off straight away, both musically and on a personal level. The debut album MILES AWAY was released at the end of 2022 and since then the band LAESSIG has also been on the road live. In addition to many great concerts, further single releases followed and then the second album STORY TO TELL in 2024.
